Rising Nigerian-Norwegian artist SYLV!A (born Sylvia Obiageli Ojiaku) steps into Nigeria’s vibrant music scene with her debut single, “2Nyte”—a bold anthem celebrating sisterhood, freedom, and self-expression.
Born and raised in Bergen, Norway, SYLV!A’s love for music was evident from a young age. By age eight, she was already the lead singer of her family band, The Ojiaku 3+. However, when her father relocated to Nigeria in 2010, she shifted her focus to academics while secretly nurturing her passion for songwriting.
After earning a degree in Economics, SYLV!A returned to Nigeria, drawn to the creative energy of Lagos. “The city pushes you to believe in yourself,” she shares. This newfound inspiration led to the creation of “2Nyte”, a track that blends Afro-fusion rhythms with smooth R&B textures, reflecting her rich dual heritage.

Now joining the wave of diaspora artists redefining Nigerian music, SYLV!A is ready to share her story with the world. “This is where my journey begins,” she affirms.
“2Nyte” is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, Boomplay, and all major streaming platforms.
