Ikemefuna Favour popularly know as Favi; was born in the Bariga area of Lagos state. He is a young and versatile emerging artiste who has been referred to as a musical prodigy in the Nigerian Trap scene by his fans since the release of his latest tape.
Nigerian music has grown so wide in order to accommodate more artistes and new genres. This has brought about an increase in competitiveness than collaborations in order to stay relevant.
Surprisingly, Favi set a good example on his recently released EP, ‘Friday Night in Gidi’, as he featured different artistes on the three track EP. Apparently, this strategy paid off positively because he was called upon to be a featured artiste on track 6, ‘Sicko 22,’ off Reezy’s new body of work titled 20’s Music.
It’s amazing to see a young and vibrant talent doing good on his own; while solidifying his place amongst his peers.
On Sicko’22, Favi clearly showcased himself as he delivered the right energy by spewing his lyrical prowess and versatility on the track. He explored with the sound and it came out right. He stuck to the message of the track which happens to be about ruling and attaining new peak in ‘22.
Some would ask, what is so special? Well, his ability to deliver and not slip from the theme of the song. His flows are effortless as he caresses the beats with braggadocio and finesse.
