Seyi Shay, the talented British-Nigerian singer and songwriter, is back with her latest EP, ‘Feels Like Home Vol 1.‘ This release marks a special moment in her incredible journey through music.
It’s been two years since she shared ‘Big Girl,’ a lively piece of her soul. Five years have passed since ‘Electric Package;‘ an electrifying journey in sound, and a whopping eight years since her debut album ‘Seyi or Shay.’ These past treasures form the foundation of Seyi Shay’s remarkable story in music.
Growing up in Tottenham, London, with roots in Nigeria, Seyi Shay’s life was a melody waiting to happen. Her mother’s angelic voice in the church choir and her sister’s melodies for the BBC. Her brother’s beats spinning in London’s clubs all breathed music into her heart. At just six years old, she took her first step onto the stage as a school choir member. Her talent carried her across the globe, performing with the London Community Gospel Choir in 13 cities in Japan.
This year, Seyi Shay returned with “BoBo.” A single that’s all about the rhythms of love, freedom, and the joy of dancing to life’s melodies. It’s a joyful reunion with an old friend and a fresh taste of something new.
