The Alliance Française in Ikoyi buzzed with energy on Friday, May 9, 2025. The French Embassy in Nigeria, in partnership with the Creative Industries Initiative for Africa (CIIFA) and CcHub Creative, hosted the Amplify Bootcamp Live Showcase. This event marked the finale of the five-day Amplify Bootcamp, a high-impact training program for emerging creatives.

The showcase featured dynamic performances from four rising Nigerian talents — Mannie Tseayo, Esoterica, Salako, and Ife — who had just completed a rigorous bootcamp tailored to equip them with the confidence, tools, and industry knowledge required to thrive in today’s creative landscape. The programme also included their managers, reflecting its holistic approach to developing both artists and their support teams.

Throughout the week, participants received practical training and mentorship. They covered vocal technique, stage presence, performance strategy, scenography, branding, and digital growth. These sessions were led by seasoned industry professionals such as Godwin Tom, Dr Bukky Taylor, Made Kuti, and Shimmer Goddess.

A standout moment was a masterclass with Afrobeat artist Made Kuti. He served as the stage coach, sharing deep insights on authenticity and excellence in live performance.

The evening wrapped up with a cocktail event sponsored by Martell, creating a space for networking and collaboration among music executives, cultural leaders, creative entrepreneurs, and media stakeholders.

The success of the Amplify Bootcamp Live Showcase demonstrates the incredible potential of Nigeria’s creative talent,” said a representative from the French Embassy. “We are committed to building more platforms like this that nurture emerging voices and open doors to international opportunities.

Launched by the French Embassy in Nigeria in partnership with CIIFA and CcHub, the Amplify Bootcamp is a flagship initiative aimed at accelerating the growth of African creatives through world-class training, mentorship, and performance exposure.

As global interest in Nigeria’s creative sector continues to rise, the Amplify Bootcamp serves as a powerful model for purposeful investment in talent development, cultural exchange, and sustainable creative careers.
