In an unprecedented fusion of talent, two distinctive Abuja artists, Begho and Inçi, have come together to create a ground-breaking EP titled “Don’t Bother, I’m Not Coming Back.” Begho, a prolific hip-hop artist known for his evocative tracks, previously made waves with “MDNR V1,” inspired by his late-night drives.

Inçi, a captivating vocalist who initially gained recognition through her social media covers, has lent her vocals to various songs and is now stepping into the limelight with her own music.

“DBINCB” delves into the profound personal reflections of both artists, chronicling the trials and tribulations of a toxic relationship. Through their music, Begho and Inçi offer a raw and unfiltered look into the complexities of love, vulnerability, intimacy, and self-discovery.

The EP seamlessly weaves together multiple genres, including Alternative, R&B, and Afrobeats, showcasing the versatility and creativity of these two artists. KNACKZZZZZ : A fiery Afro-fusion turn in the EP, it explores intimacy and sex appeal,

highlighting the passionate cycle between a couple who fight and make up, set to an

Afro-fusion backdrop.

RIDE4U : The lead single of the EP explores the rich R&B genre, with Begho delving into a new sound, and Inçi showcasing her prowess as an emerging solo artist, promising a musical experience that transcends boundaries. The artists express the lengths they will go for a loved one.

‘RIDE4U’ was the first song we worked on. The chemistry between us was too evident, so I suggested we work on a project together. It set the tone for what we wanted the project to be.

ALWAYSYUU : This track offers a darker perspective on toxic relationships, combining

alternative style drums with R&B melodies. Begho and Inçi describe it as a “screaming

match between people, like in Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”

 ‘ALWAYSYUU’ felt perfect from its inception to its completion. It felt like we heard

ourselves at that moment.

OUTRO : The EP concludes with “OUTRO,” which delves into self-love and acceptance, as both artists choose to part ways in pursuit of peace outside toxicity. It is a poignant reminder of the importance of self acceptance and growth.

The EP features collaborations with talented producers, including Wess, Stitch, NTP, and Jiggy YB, who have all played a pivotal role in shaping the unique sound of the EP.
