He’s a Nigerian DJ, producer, and an artist. SSSoundGawd’s rise accelerated in 2025 with the release of “Aura Salad” a collaboration with Mavo, the track debuted at No.1 on the Spotify Nigeria Top Songs chart. Since then he has built a steady solo catalog, including “Hey Mama” ft Mavo and Joshua Baraka.
His music blends bouncy Afropop, Amapiano grooves and inventive lamba rhythms. He currently has close to 2 million monthly listeners.
SSSoundGwad is officially dropping his debut project THE WORST this September 2026. The Kilogbede Records signed announced the heavily anticipated project and this will be his first as a lead artist. The Worst is expected to give listeners a better sense of his musical identity, the kind of sound he is developing and the direction he wants to take as an artist. This entails that he is gradually putting his name in front of more listeners and I think he’s ready to give us a full picture of what he can do. SSSoundGawd has shown a consistent instinct for bold song and project titles.
His single “SWAGGA” was described as “a direct announcement from an artist who believes in where he is headed. Speaking about the project’s concept, he framed it as a personal manifesto: “They told me I was the worst when I started worst at rapping, worst at producing, worst at stepping out from behind the decks. I named this project The Worst because it’s the comeback story. SSSoundGawd isn’t just releasing music he’s staking his claim.
